Hasan Bin Firoz, ESR 11 (University of York)

Hasan Bin Firoz is an Early-Stage Researcher in the MSCA-ETN SAS Project. He is currently employed at Institute of Safe Autonomy in University of York (United Kingdom). His current research interests include Control engineering, Machine Learning, autonomous systems.

Hasan received his M.Eng. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020. During his Masters study, he conducted his research work at BeiDou Research Institute (BRI), Shanghai as a research intern and successfully defended his thesis on Deep Neural Network based Controller design for Improved Trajectory Tracking of Quadrotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. After his graduation, he joined a software company in Shanghai where he worked in a Microsoft Project for almost 2 years. He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Dhaka (Bangladesh) in 2017.
